VICTORIA BECKHAM

How did Victoria Beckham become the most attracive brand for consumers in 2024?
No need to introduce her: Victoria Beckham is an icon in both the music and fashion worlds. After marking the 90s with the Spice Girls (it is difficult not to hum “Wannabe” when we mention this group), she now stands as a key style figure.
Passionate about fashion, Victoria Beckham launched her own brand in 2008, after being chosen as a muse by Marc Jacobs for his spring-summer collection of the same year. Through her creations, she offers elegant and refined pieces, with clean cuts, in perfect harmony with the "quiet luxury" movement away from the exuberance of eye-catching aesthetics.
In 2017, Néo Investment Partners, a private equity firm, invested £30 million. The following year, the brand recorded a loss of 11.2 million euros, 2.2 million more than in the previous year. The team is then strengthened with recognized talents, such as Ralph Toledano.
Subsequently, after a few collaborations quickly sold out with Estée Lauder, she decided to launch in 2019 a range of beauty products. Rather than teaming up with a big name in the industry, she chose to go it alone, collaborating with Jérôme Epinette, one of the best perfumers, and professor Augustinus Bader, an iconic figure in cosmetics, a world-renowned doctor and researcher, creator of his own care brand.
Under this new management, the brand continues its expansion, launching in 2022 a bodywear collection and a range of leather goods, with the support of consultant Annabelle Volaire Levassor from AVL Insight.
In 2024, it finally announces a profitable year, with an increase of 52% in its turnover in 2023, reaching almost 107 million euros, compared to 69 million in 2022. Adjusted EBITDA is also positive, confirming profitability.
This is a major achievement,” the designer told Harper’s Bazaar as she prepares to receive the Women of the Year Awards 2024. The company has gone through so many trials in seventeen years: ups, downs, restructurings... it was a real challenge. To finally be able to say that we are beneficiaries is a source of pride, because it’s not an easy industry and it’s getting harder and harder.” Victoria Beckham has succeeded in this challenge, going from singer to artistic director, erasing, over time and thanks to her talent, any question of legitimacy.
