His legendary collaborations with artists such as Dalí, Cocteau, Man Ray, Giacometti and Marcel Vertès have become legendary.
The world of Elsa Schiaparelli is a fascinating journey where dream and reality intertwine, where fashion and art merge in a timeless dance. Inspired by surrealism, she transformed each piece into a work of art, giving life to bold and innovative concepts. His creations, marked by its iconic shocking pink, broke conventions and embodied a joyful provocation full of vitality.
After almost 40 years of silence, the Maison Schiaparelli made its grand comeback in 2012 by reopening its doors at the Hôtel de Fontpertuis, located at 21 place Vendôme, thanks to the support of Mr Diego Della Valle.
In 2019, Daniel Roseberry takes over the artistic direction of the Maison Schiaparelli and gives life to some of the Maison’s most important codes, while paying tribute to Elsa’s love for surrealism. At the same time, he reinterprets these codes, creating a new aesthetic grammar by incorporating gold jewelry and fittings, recycled denim, as well as leather and metal cuirasses and anatomical elements. Like Elsa, herself famous for her technical innovations, Roseberry is particularly interested in experimenting with new and surprising fabrics, constantly pushing the limits of what haute couture can and should be.
Today, Schiaparelli continues to cultivate this exceptional heritage, offering 21st century women a bold style and timeless allure.
